Ran out of fuel just outside Rhayader

Hi All

Went out Saturday for Bimble decide to route via Hereford,  Rhayader and come back to Church village via Llandovery.

I rather stupidly decided to push my luck after switching to reserve with 25 miles to Go - bad bad idea... Ran out about 5 miles from the petrol station in Rhayader  with the big Cafe attached :handjob

I ended pushing the Blade for almost 2 miles before a kind Gent in - A Black prince (black shadow with a fairing ) decanted a litre of fuel from his tank, enough to get me the 3 miles to a garage at the bottom of the hill.. :thumbsup

What a star pumped a few lites into his tank at the garage and off he went.

You plonker  :rofl  I bet you were glad the "Black Prince" gave you a hand after  pushing your bike for 2miles  :sweat :sweat :sweat

2 Miles is a hell of a long way to push your Blade.Ran out of fuel on my Aprilia a while back I was lucky my son was home from Uni.

as a thought could we do a in case of emergency mobile no's.

i live in llandrindod wells and would gladly help out a fellow biker in the are if they were in trouble, never mate any of you guys but that wouldnt stop me from offering a hand.


last year some freinds were on a tour of wales and had an off, i was more than happy to assist if required, even store the bike for them if required.

just an idea like
