Accident!
« on: November 22, 2011, 01:41:08 PM »
Had my second accident last night, doing about 5 mph about to become stationary to turn into tescos on the broadway in pontypridd, could see a bmw ready to pull out but still stationary. Then without warning accelerated, slammed the bike into full braking and lost the front wheel causing the bike to fall onto its right side trapping my left lef between the front wheel and the downpipe. Not one person came over to help for a good 30 seconds until finally someone helped me free my leg and get the bike upright. During this time im still in the road with people driving round me! BMW driver very apologetic, said he looked left and right and didnt check in front of him before pulling out, gave me 20 quid there and then to fix the footpeg that has been bent but has stopped any further damage thank god! Didnt help that the road was quite wet mind you

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Coming off the bike could easily have caused the tread on both tyres to wear prematurely with the sudden shock. Might be worth considering getting him to pay for two new ones...  :scratch   :thumb_up     :rofl
