A tyre to settle the 'chicken strip' debate
« on: March 04, 2010, 07:12:13 PM »
Taken from Visordown

You're not a biker unless you've either pointed and laughed at someone's chicken strips, or had someone point at yours. Here's the tyre to end the ridicule...

Metzeler have introduced their new Sportec M5 with this brilliant addition to the tread pattern. Now you can get your notepad out and compare markers with your mates.

So what number are you? I expect Pope to be 7 :eek

Me well ummm...................off to check :leaving

top tip:

Get a 180 section rear instead of a 190 as it makes it easier to to get to the edge  :innocent

They need to fit the 1 - 5 marks, in the gap between the '5' mark and the edge of the tyre!!

The only time I got my knee down was closely followed by my arse and elbow....

There's gonna be a lot of bikers sat on the arse getting it that far over on the road.  Is it me or is that just asking for trouble?

I'm just glad they've done it that way and not in inches or centimetres.

After being lied to so much for so long, us poor girls wouldn't know WHERE we were at!  :fishing

There is more to riding than waving your knob around and trying to impress people by how far you can crank a bike over, If you were that good you would be riding for a living!

Is there really :scratch
Im not saying im the greatest rider from this forum, because im not. But there are people on this forum that i would put money on becoming a pro...... if it were not because of the amount of money to get started :shocked
