Cheap RST Kevlar Jeans £62.99 (mens and womens)

I had a reasonably slow speed off in a pair, with my leg under the bike.
I did not go through the trousers and you would be hard pushed to see where contact was made with the ground, but ended up with a decent size hole in my knee all the same, from friction I presume. I now wear knee/shin protectors underneath them.:-)

Anyone had an 'off' in Kevlar jeans. I mean, do they work... it's not a loaded question, just never bought a pair myself and often wondered if they're any good?

I guess the Kevlar panels help with abrasion, but what about impact protection?

Yeah, I go for under armour myself too (Hein Gericke)... just feel too 'prone' without any knock protection.

Thinking about a pair of these Kevlar jobbies tho.

Depends what you call local lol but bike gear bridgend have them they are £80 in there. They come with Knox contour knee armour which is CE approved etc.

Geeez! well spotted that's a bit of a price increase!!! £63 to £80 perhaps it was a misprice initially .
