Just ordered a pair myself. Seen them down at bikegear in bridgend for £80 and are around £72 online in most places.
They have reviews that say they have more kevlar than draggin/hornee jeans which are twice the blooming price and dont include knee armor as standard.

Anyone had an 'off' in Kevlar jeans. I mean, do they work... it's not a loaded question, just never bought a pair myself and often wondered if they're any good?

I guess the Kevlar panels help with abrasion, but what about impact protection?

According to what I've read they offer minimal to no impact protection. I mean they have ce approved knee armour and I believe you can fit hip armour so that's your impact protection. They protect the skin against friction burns/road rash since the kevlar won't break up.
Does a leather pair offer more impact protection? The way I understand it is the leather is great because its strong and smooth so in a slide you'll just simply glide along the floor without tumbling (in principle anyway). The jeans only have Kevlar in certain spots where as the leather protects the whole leg so the leather is better in that respect.
My leathers offer the same areas of armour so won't they be the same as the jeans for impact? Or am I missing something?

The reason I purchased them is for back and forth work. Ill chuck them on (with some waterproofs if necessary) and when I get to work I don't need to change as they just look like normal jeans. One things for sure - they offer better protection than the ordinary jeans I have been known to wear on the bike - my choice i know but it's a stupid one I'm fixing with buying these jeans.

Fair enuff... I guess they do look a hellova lot cooler than leather jeans... especially for work and have to be a better option than regular jeans.

MMM, maybe I'll get a pair myself... those Draggin' jobbies look good, but man they're SO expensive, every time I consider a pair my palms start sweating and my wife starts jibbing!

Got messed around with peakroadandrace unfortunately, but jeans have now arrived. Apparently they have taken on new staff and were very apologetic when they firstly forgot to despatch them even after sending me a tracking number and then after waiting nearly 2 weeks they sent the wrong size.
They have now rectified the problem and I am very impressed with the jeans especially for the money. Knee armor is pretty discreet and the fit is great both on and off the bike. Without the knee armor they do just look like ordinary jeans
Overall very happy with my purchase. If anyone wants photos or more information let me know and I'll add it here
