Cheap Bike Cam
« on: December 28, 2010, 11:42:27 AM »
Vehicle/Bike Cam + 8 or 4 GB Micro SD Card £19.99 or £16.99 at 7dayShop

Thought this may be of interest - seems a good price and good review too. Don't know if I'd attach it to my helmet like the guy in the video mind...

I was going to order one for myself but 'santa' got me a helmet cam.
Im still considering getting one to have a play with - see if I can mount it on the back somewhere (facing forward) to give angle going into corners etc  :thumb_up

Anychance you could give a little update (when you get a chance) on how the brackets attach to the camera?
Just as I'll need to mod it for my purposes  :tnp

Cheers!

Waiting for delivery now mate. I dont think any of the brackets they supply are going to be any good tbh. So it will give me a little project to get on with.  My intitial plan is to modify the handlebar bracket, and make some mounting points down by the front caliper. I got access to a tool room and and machines, so I can make pretty much anything.

I'll look into it a bit more when the stuff arrives. If it works, and your getting one, let me know and I'll get two sets made.

Its worth ordering even if they fall apart after 6 months. The 8gig card is worth a tenner.  :tup2

I just ordered myself one of these too - the 8gb one.

Seems like a bargain to me. Quality in the demo vid seems pretty good for the price.

We'll see how the attachments work on the bike when it all comes - as fuzzr said, they may not quite work.

Nice find Higgy mate. :tup2
