Well thanks for suggesting George White.

First time I ever been there, went to the Swindon branch and was impressed. A whole show room of leathers, lids, gloves etc.

First off Lids:

Arai: Nice BUT the only reason I wanted it was because it was an Arai.

Shoei: Very light, felt nice BUT every time I looked at it the lid just dident look special.

AVG: WOW, something not quite right with them, every one I put on felt like the cheek pads were made from sand paper.

Shark: Well I already have one of them.

Nolan Malandri N62, Very nice fit etc but did not feel special

Nolan X-Lite 602 Stoner: Well I am not a fan of Stoner BUT I still admire the guy, still no Rossi BUT still.... Well I bought the Stoner lid, real nice fit, light, quality feel like all Nolan lids, felt kid of special as not many people in the UK have a Nolan. Its in red & blue so will go with both sets of my leathers. Well happy with the lid :)

Also thought I'll try a cheap pair of wrist gloves, Frank Thomas, only £20 so can see if I get on with that type. Got a summer textile vented jacket also Frank Thomas, nice for the odd trip round town when I dont want to put my leathers on.

Nice lid mate and thanks for letting us know they're worth the trip. I'm going down Wednesday and I've never been there before. I'm after a helmet and leathers was there a good selection of sizes in stock?

Well worth the trip, better than anything local.

I saw Cheap one piece leathers from £99, Wrist gloves Frank Thomas £20, Full type from £30. Even had some Alpine Stars from £30. Had so much stock there I could not see why they would not have any size of anything......Well apart from gloves, was being picky and couldent find a pair in bright white & black.

Saw a nice pair of Arlen Ness White boots, realy liked them, think they were around £60-70 ish. Ankle Puma boots £99.

I struggled with a few jackets as I always do but the vented FT jacket was realy nice and only £30.

Its like three single shops there, one for Honda, one for Kawasaki, and behind a shop for helmets etc. The size was like a Thunderroad all of gear only.

Well it will be a place I will return to.

I'm looking for a good pair of boots which I'm hoping will be on sale  :thumbsup

Was hoping for a few bargains in the Carole Nash show last month. Mate picked up a cracking alpine one piece racing suit reduced to £200.

I called at M&P yesterday looking for their sale - there wasn't one, simple as! Limited stock of most clothing and the majority of what they had in stock was budget stuff, at FULL PRICE!  :thumb_down

IMHO here's a shop that's gone from Hero 2 Zero in a very short space of time; the original M&P set-up was impressive, now it's pretty run-of-the-mill, to say the least.

Got the stuff needed at Bike Gear, Bridgend... now there's a properly sorted business, with decent stock, helpful staff and a realistic grip on prices.  :thumb_up
