Just received an email from Llandow Race Circuit & the price is £70 per bike

whats the track like ive heard its not the best never getting out of 2nd and 3rd??

I will hopefully make it, just need to ship the misses off somewhere. Not been to a track day before.

Its not the best track but as an experiance its OK, you pays your money takes your chance.

If you've never done a trackday before then this circuit is ideal. Its small, yes, but that makes it easy to learn, so you can just get on with thinking about your bike control and getting faster each lap. Its a very physical track too. Because its small there are no long straights where you can rest before the next set of bends!

Plus its local, so you dont have to leave really early in the morning to get there.

I've done it twice now and enjoyed both occasions.

I've never done a track day, would love to give it a go - but I'm a bit worried that I'll come off.

I'm not worried about myself so much, but my bike (ZX6R) is my only form of transport so I rely on it to get to and from work etc!
Still, I live just 2 miles away from the Llandow circuit - so at least I could walk home on the day - if I don't break my legs!

ive done llandow twice 1st time on the zx10 and then on the zxr750 , i was worried about binning the zx10 but managed to get around ok but at best got to 2nd gear , but on the zxr750 had alot more fun as i could red line that and get most of the way through the rev's in 3rd. it is a small track but still realy good fun compared to the open road with them shity cars about. im gona start this year off with llandow again. yeeeeee haaaaaaaaa
