The Rhymney Valley TT
« on: August 08, 2011, 11:38:00 AM »
The Rhymney Valley TT is a charity bike rally event raising money for local cancer charity Clurv. It will all kick off in Bargoed town centre at 10am on the morning of Saturday 24th September, participants will then leave Bargoed at 11am to ride through Ystrad Mynach, Caerphilly, Maesycwmmer, Blackwood and then back to Bargoed by about 1:30pm where there will be stalls, activities and entertainmen...t suitable for all the family.
Those wishing to continue further into the evening will find bands in the local pubs and drinking places, and are more than welcome to use Cwm Darren campsite at Deri, there will be a free minibus service between Bargoed town and the campsite for those who need it.
All bikes, trikes, scooters etc. welcome to take part, tickets can be purchased from DippyHippy (52 Hanbury Road, Bargoed) between now and the morning of the rally at a cost of £5. These tickets will be redeemable for a commemorative 2011 TT pin badge at the end of the ride.

This is a local event being organised by A friend of mine (Vicky) its her first organised event so come on all you Welsh bikers come and support a Lady Biker, Trying too help others  :group_hug

Daft question, but there are no motorways, or anything else that would stop learners turning up, are there?

Sounds great,  I would like to bring the family but we are three and I have one bike.   Maybe my wife can take the car with a tent in the boot and meet me and my son after the ride. Sounds like a good day out.  I will honestly try my best to be there.
Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?
