MACMILLAN CANCER MOUNTAIN RIDEOUT sun aug 7th 2011
« on: July 28, 2011, 12:16:34 PM »
just a small idea of raising money for cancer sufferers has gone massive for me on this one.

I had a big write up in the south wales argus, Ive has 100 posters given out around south Wales, ive had posters sent to 100 shops and garages in Gwent. And ive had a page on facebook, rideout and welshbikers so I dont even want to think of the amount of people who are coming along to help raise money for this cause.

The meeting point is at Newport Football Stadium (1 minute up the dual carriageway from South wales superbikes) it is signposted off junction 24 (coldra) to Newport Veledrome, BUT, I am going to put direction arrows all the way to the event off juction 24...

Get there if poss any time after 8.30 to help us line up in groups of 5 bikes and to pay the £10 donation fee and registrate.

The route is from Newport stadium up the A449 to Abergavenny (27 miles)for a stop and a cuppa for 1 hour, (there is a a petrol station here too) Then we are off through the  Brecon mountain roads to Llandovery (50 miles) for  dinner in the west end cafe for 2 hours, then we will be making our way back the same route where everybody can disperse their own ways to their home.

Please stay with the group and help our convoy have a safe journey and a good day out
