MACMILLAN CANCER CARE WELSH RIDEOUT IN JULY/AUGUST

hi all, im new on here but wanted to see what response I get from you all.
Having lost close members of the family to CANCER, I know raise money for MACMILLAN CANCER CARE that do a great job of looking after the victims and their families.
I have a group of keen experienced bikers around me that are sitting down planning a full days rideout route around the Welsh Valleys and mountain roads. It wont be till late July and I will advertise it thoroughly when I confirm dates.
We will be meeting at a location in Newport.
Everyone who comes will pay £15 fee payable on the day and a thankyou certificate from myself on behalf of Macmillan. Please drop me a post to let me know your ideas and when I get all the posters run off maybe I can send them to you all to advertise in your club.

this is a very good cause close to my heart and i have raisded over £15,000 myself in the last 5 years.
while your ride is to far away for me and I'm away in july i won't be able to attend but will make a donation

we have chosen the route, via a cuppa at ABERGAVENNY and a dinner at Llandovery before the trek back, it will be a good ride out on a SUNDAY EARLY AUGUST in aid of MACMILLAN CANCER CARE, £10 fee donation. Just a thought but how about ride around a good chunk of Wales. Riders could join at various points & drop off when they like. You might get more this way & after all the point is to get as many £10 as possible.

This will be an organised event so police might have to be informed. Ask The Stig about this as he is running a Welsh Ambulance charity ride.

its exactly 1 hour 4 mins
and from where i am it takes me 45 mins so not much difference
as it starts from newport
come on it should be fun
