can  riders on l plates go on this? didnt know if there were licence restrictions on the old severn crossing

BOTH Severn crossings are on motorways, M4 or (I think) M48 ..ex-M4. So normal rules apply... No learners - and part of the route is on the M4 / M48 proper, apart from the bridge crossing.
An incentive to get the test done before 17th October?

i did hoggin the noggin last yr on L plates...loved it...though whoopsie...nearly forgot was'nt allowed to ride with grown ups on motorway!!! good practise of swerve!!!

i just went straight to chepstow n enjoyed festivities... so i wld go babe if i were u...legally ur allowed to cross severn bridge on l plates on pedestrian walkway... i think...!!

L plates bikes are allowed to cross seven bridge foot path as long as you observe speed limit

yeah, i just rang them last night and they said the same thing on the old crossing

you can start from chepstow on the a466 and after the bridge join the a403 or b4461

Have never done this and cannot wait for it this year as I'm sure it'll be an experience and half  . What do us first timers need to know about this event?
