The above pictures are, first 2 were taken not long after leaving Aberystwyth for Devils bridge the others are of the route from Devils Bridge to Elan Valley which I went on today to see what its like. Gorgeous views and a great road, but it was a tiring journey and wouldn't be fair on the ones who have already travelled all the way from J33 M4 as it is, and not ideal for less experienced riders either, so that route it definitely a must do for another time, preferably dry weather as there was a patch where I panicked, slight down hill and bend and road covered in dead leaves and wet weather, not the best condition for a bike.

This is not my rideout, but Rhosyn can I offer some suggestions.
As this was your idea Rhosyn you should be pathfinder & stay at the front. You can do backmarker one of two ways. Either one person stays as backmarker all the way or you use the drop off system. That is when we turn off road to go left or right whoever is no two stops there & shows everyone the route until backmarker passes & tells them they are backmarker & so on.
It is a good idea to put slower or less experienced riders up front or even split the group. Also lead rider should not accelerate away from 30 to NSL until you can see riders are through the speed sign otherwise people in the back will either have to go very fast or will lag behind.
Where safe to do so it looks good & is safer if riders follow to left & right rather than right behind each other.
General advise to riders is not to exceed their comfort zone. This is meant to be an enjoyable day out not a balls out blast to Casualty.

Thanks for some great advise there, very much appreciated. I do have a backmarker lined up, we need to meet up and discuss everything but I'm sure between me and OMG this ride out will go smoothly, and if we have some wanderers and gets lost the natives will be more than happy to put them back on track  Will take on board what you have said and will meet up with OMG soon and get this ride sorted  See you soon
