According the website there is secure parking for bikes :-

We will also have an arrangment for secure parking for your bikes at the

ST JOHN BAPTIST CHURCH HIGH SCHOOL, GLAN ROAD, ABERDARE

POSTCODE FOR SAT NAV CF44 8BW.

No mention of cars though - if I remember it is a residential area so you can dump the car in a side street somewhere.  :thumb_up

You have to remember that this is going to be a BUSY weekend for the whole town! There are car parking area's around on side streets etc, do look out for any parking restriction signs though! There will be a number of parking attendants (and traffic wardens and police too) on hand around the park area, ask them for help if needed?

Last year saw around 7000 people attend over the weekend, the weather this weekend is supposedly (via BBC weather) reasonable to good, so do expect a LOT of traffic and indeed people! The best advice I can give is to arrive as early as possible to 9am, when the race weekend starts. That way you'll have a better chance of finding parking nearer to the park.

See you there and do have some change ready, as our new charity Blood Bikes Wales are launching at the park and we will be asking for any donations, if you can spare any, to get us going  :tup2

If you are going to the races and want a proper biker breakfast visit The Hot Pot Cafe and try the Steak Special Breakfast.  Steve, the bloke who runs it is very pro biker. The Hot Pot is in a side street just off the main road which runs past Aberdare Park. It is more or less opposite the end of the start straight and is well worth a visit.
