Getting bouts of torrential rain in St Mellons, luckily I made it in, now it's pinging off the tank of the Bandit :'(!

On an unrelated note, will a Bandit rust up in the rain?  :eek

I've got a Bandit myself and they are very prone to corrosion. Great bike though. :scooter

Well she's my dad's mistress... I know she prefers me riding her though  :thumbsup

Aye, but then the gear linkage on the Honda CBF I had from new rusted at the first sign of autumn drizzle. I suppose it's an Indian bike, and I used it for commuting, so what did I expect? I'd prefer it if Suzuki just put a couple of mm of lacquer or paint on the exhaust and be done with it!

Give it a good wash on the weekend then cover it in ACF50, it'll be fine. I've ridden my bandit through 2 winters and the corrosion only came this year when I did cover it in ACF50 soon enough and the salt got to it  :banghead
