Ride of respect - Wootton Bassett
« on: January 08, 2011, 04:32:23 PM »
Hi, couldnt find a post about this charity ride.

Was just wondering who was going on the Ride of Respect run on April 3rd 2011.
It for the afghan heroes charity, apparently last year there was 15,000 bikers.

Ive registered and wondered who else here was going, maybe there could be a meet up somewhere with the welsh bikers?

Im going. Think I'm booked in for 10 - 11.

May go and stay in Wooton Bassett the night before. Think there are a few bands on and stuff.

Hi Sian

At the last count, I think Shazza mentioned around 10 of us booked-in to go, some for the 9-10 slot, others for the 10-11. We're hoping to coordinate a group ride to the venue, to make the most of the day.

I am booked for 11-12. would love to meet up and go as a group.
Don't care what time in the a.m. I am happy to hang around and wait for my time slot.
I know its more or less M4 all the way but that wont stop me getting lost.  :help

ok shazza cant go she has other plans,so i think 07.30 at cardiff gate services then 08.00 magor services that will cater for the 09.00-10.00 and the 10.00-11.00 if it is timed right we should all get in at the same time.we could stop at leighdel services just before the exit on the m4 that we need.does that sound ok to every one  :tup2

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
