Anybody from the Merthyr, Nelson, Pontypridd area doing this ride-out on Sunday want to meet up somewhere for the ride down to Newport?

Hi Don,  me and my son will travelling up the M4 from sarn services.   We could meet up in the Asda petrol station where the A470 meets the M4 if you like?  I know it's not far to Newport from there but that would be the most obvious place to meet.  Let me know.  Wont be offended if you don't think it's worth it from there.

Looking at 8:30.    BadHarry and his son are planning on meeting us there to.   It is dependant on the weather,  if it is lashing down it's a no go for us but if it's drizzling or showers we'll be there but I can't speak for BadHarry.   Is this arrangement ok with you? 

Hope for ours and the organizers sake that the weather is permitting.   Been looking forward to it.

I'm instructing on Sunday but will try and get my learners over to Newport in the morning to see the spectacle.

Also if you are looking for a meeting place at junction 32, instead of the back of the car wash, there is a Golden Arches opposite the petrol station.

Mcdonalds (golden arches) car park sounds good to me.  Never knew there was one there.  Thanks for the info Foody.   Are we agreed with McD's car park? it sounds a bit better place to meet.

Foody,  Thank you, we will have a good day.  By the response I've heard has been received for this event it should be quite a spectacle for your learners to see.  I am looking forward to my sons reaction of being amongst all them bikes, then all riding out  from Newport tomorrow morning.   I am excited about taking him.

hi all, lets try and not be fazed by the british weather this weekend, the met office has stated that we are having a mainly cloudy Saturday night and Sunday in Brecon areas is going to be cloudy with the chance of light rain showers, whilst it could be raining in Newport at the meet up it is forcast to be better the higher we go through the day, so lets not let the weather put us off.
There will be a burger van set up at Newport stadium from 8am, and at the other end in Llandovery the West end cafe will have hot over the counter fresh food for us to buy after mid day when we arrive there.
The stadium is off the M4 at Junction 24 and head towards the brown sign (newport international sporting village) it takes you there, please get there early as poss to help us sign in and get your bikes lined up for depart. Cant wait
