Follow up ride from the 18th, Going East. EARLY OCTOBER
« on: September 21, 2011, 02:53:33 AM »
The new thread for the next ride that some of us have already agreed would be a good idea. I will pm thiis link to those from the last rideout but anybody is welcome to join,  we had a great day on the last rideout and sure we will again so all feel free to come along.   :scooter

Last ride started off heading West to pick up Rhosyn and OMG at Pont Abraham and they have both agreed along with Don and naggedhusband to head East over big bridge to pick up Bloke from Bristol who rode a long way to join us last time.  So a bit of wara teg as most of us live somewhere in between.

start off heading for Bristol, take the A38 to burnham on sea have a bag of chips,ICE CREAM!  :feeding  then go on towards W.S.M more ICE CREAM  :feeding  then on to clevedon, more ICE CREAM  :feeding   then make our way home via portishead, avonmouth, severn beach no more ICE CREAM  :no  ,aust, old severn bridge, then home  :leaving
Priceys route, I can't take credit for it. Never been to Burnham-on-sea.  I thought oxford was in london untill I ended up there (or near there  :scratch ) a few weeks ago on one of priceys rideouts.   :rofl

Winters almost here, let's get another good ride in before it's to late.

The date at the mo is flexible between oct 2nd and 9th, whichever is considered easiest by all who are interested.  that's the two weeks between MAG demo   :tank and Hoggin the bridge  :scooter

All updates will be posted on this thread now Don  :old:fishing  :rofl

Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

My bike never goes away,  I ride the whole year.  Most people don't though but I don't drive so it's not a choice thing.  I only venture out in the snow if I have to, like for work.  I don't have a third wheel for stability but still think it takes a lot of skill to stay safe in them conditions.   :tup2

D'y'know, I've been put on a "special" project that is freeing up the next three weekends. So make it earlier than later please... oh and keep in dry with an Indian Summer.
Ride a bit, stop, drink tea, ride a bit more.

I really don't mind Doing the 2nd of OCT lamble,  I just thought i'd throw two dates out there and see what the feedback was.
I hope most if not all from the last rideout can come along plus the other members who have shown interest.   :tup2

Bloke I know you don't expect us to come your way because you came all the way west with us.  We did that ride to be fair to the two down that way and we have agreed that to do the same for you is gesture of fairness and it's a good route anyway,  two birds a stone and all that.   :rofl  and try to get your right peg down on r/abouts this time.   :rofl

Skippy,  Rhosyn and OMG are both hopefully riding from the west so you could arrange a meeting time at the services at j47.   I would say next pick up (where I would join) would be j33 or j32 then wherever Bloke wants to meet over the bridge.  Keeps the pick up points to minimum.  I could always join up with you at Bridgend junction if that would be easier for you?  :scratch
Times to be arranged.  We really need to be looking at Bristol for the same time we made Pont Abraham about 9:40am.

lamble has a preference for the 2nd,  any preferences from anyone else?  I can do either, 9th is easier but the 2nd is not a problem really so I'd be happy to go along with that.   :tup2

Off to bed now.    :zzz   till tomorrow.   :cya all.

Could meet in awst services?

But just a heads up, I may not be able to make it. I've got stuff coming out of the woodwork here. I'm going to try to, damn sure of it, but I'm by no means a definite.
