Cardiff to Anglesey run this Thursday/Friday/Saturday

Me and Chamz are off to Anglesey this Thursday leaving at mid-day from Cardiff

Heading up the A470 will take about 5 hours or so.
If anyone else fancies a spin up more the merrier

There's a trackday up in Anglesey on the Friday and Saturday so we're camping over to watch etc

Cardiff to Anglesey is 209 miles so if you add on the bimbling about its getting on for 450 mile round trip which is £60 in fuel for me if i'm easy on the throttle, thats before food , drink and camping fees so its a no go solely on cost , maybe next time

I think the RAF track day was last weekend,this weekend its at the Anglesey track in Rhosneigr.

This weekend is the international layout which leaves out the "corkscrew" section and includes the 2 long straights linked with a hairpin at the end.

I've done the 'national' track with the corkscrew as well as the international track and prefer the international, although lots of people like doing the 'corkscrew'

It's nothing like the one at Laguna Seca though 

I've done Anglesey a few times now, and the grip up there is exceptional
The top pictures were taken in 2 degree temperatures so it shows how much grip was there







and here's a shot of us on the way up going through the mountains
such a beautiful ride up as long as you don't hit a tractor like I did in 2009
