What a start to my weekend.   Just had a rejection letter  :nono  :fine   :thumb_down from my interview in Rockwool.  :no  :taz .  Still gonna be working for minimum wage for a while longer then.    Anyone know of any jobs going for manual labour  :tnp ?
Really could do with a bit of luck at the mo.   Gutted.
Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

Just put my bike back together.  The spring was tensioned to hard and the grub screw holding the tensioner in place was at the back against the swingarm.  I needed to put a spacer on the bottom bolt fitting too,  so the suspension had to come off.  The jack up kit I had on there was a little to high so I've changed the dogbones to lower it a bit but it's still slightly higher than standard.  Harder working on ground level with no lift than it used to be.  :rofl

This ride better be happening tomorrow now after my effort of getting the bike the way I want it to go.   :scooter   :scooter   :scooter

Forgot to mention, just had a harsh reminder, that wife deserves credit for assisting me in the work.   :tup2

My boy got rugby in the morning and going to his bmx racing club in the afternoon and won't be joining me.   I will miss having him out with me and I will have to miss his rugby game but on the plus side my bike will be at least 5 stone lighter and I will have a more relaxed ride.   :scooter

Well went out today on the bike around Brecon Hirwain, on some roads I never been on before. I was thinking about calling the ride the 4 seasons ride outs. It started off in sunshine then rain then the wind got up and finally hailstones  :shocked for a few minutes. It was a great ride though, I quite enjoyed it.  :sma
The weather tomorrow can't be as bad i would have thought so. I'm looking forward to it... :group_hug

I seem to have advanced from a fine weather rider to "I don't mind a bit of rain" to "bring in on mother nature" i can take it.... :rofl

Looks like my boy won't be racing tomorrow,  he just come home with a grazed chin and arm.  he had just hit a car on his bike.  The thing that upset him most was he blew his front innertube.  Waiting now for the shock to kick in and no doubt he will be aching in the morning.   He admitted he was to blame flying around a corner so he will get his bollocking tomorrow.  I have preached to him about the road because I had a bad road accident when I was a child.  Me and my wife have got butterflies in our stomach and he's in his bedroom with his friend playing call of duty online.   Don't know whether to hug him or clip him.  :sma
I don't know who the driver is to let him know he's fine, my son refused a lift home and left because he was scared of getting in trouble.  The poor driver is probably sitting there worried if this child is ok.  :sweat  :scratch
He had a row the other day when my friend stopped in the car to tell me Rhys was cutting corners and nearly got hit by a bus and told my son he only stopped because he was scared for his safety and not trying to get him in trouble.
I am gonna have to take his bike off him for a while I think and hopefully this will make him think about what's happened.
Like I said I'm still torn between hugging and clipping him.

I know how you feel Ry. Your glad their ok and safe but you want to drum into them about the dangers and the silly things kids do sometimes. Hopefully he will realise now how lucky he was and slow down a bit... He's a good kid... or at least he came across that way the twice I've met him... Once again I'm made-up that he's OK :tup2

Comfort him tonight but he will have a good talking to tomorrow.  I wont shout at him, I'll clearly explain how disappointed I am with his behaviour that resulted in an accident that could've been worse and that's why his bike is being taken off him for ???     ain't decided yet.

He thinks it's one big joke.   :rofl
I could slap him just for that.   He's chirpy as hell and looking forward to rugby in the morning.  He bounced off the car up in the air before hitting the floor, he said he seen dark and lights at the same time, keep asking now if he has headache.  His friend was trembling.   I hope he's aching in the morning just for him to feel some consequence, he doesn't seem to be feeling any without pain.
He scares the life out of me on times.   :sweat

He is always out and gets his hair off with the boys when they stay in on xbox live when it's raining.  He's on his bike, normally on the race track, come hail or shine.
Just had a new full face BMX helmet for the track and the daft sod daid he's glad he weren't wearing that when he crashed because it could have broke and it was £100.
That's his mentality.

I have had a row today for spending to much time online.
