I used to be down there then but in a car, used to have a black opel manta gte, back when there used to be mk2 escorts, capris etc down there.
I remember the bikes being outside the car park
Do you remember the foreign student in the lambo countach ? He stuffed it into one of those huge concrete flower pots in the centre lol

You're not that old all sorts.

Like Mark I used to go down there in a car (a black Rover SD1 with a 3.9 V8 and as it happens a white opel manta with a 400 bodykit and a 2.4 trick engine) but that was more like 20 yrs ago.
To be honest the speed and acceleration of bikes killed my interest in spending money on trying to improve car performance.

Didnt the white manta have some connection with the engine building place near the m4, morriston ?
I remember seeing a white manta down there, mine had a 2.2 engine but ended up with a 16v 240 bhp lump.
I was a bit late discovering bikes, only the last 5 years, then gave up on fast cars

Bloody hell no we're talking I used to go down there once or twice every 3-4 months or so in a black mrk3 XR3, Cav SRI 130 M-Tec Green Metallic 325I Beemer
but most of my time was spent up in Bridgend on the horizon site @ tremains.

The good old days where you could drag race someone & the only thing you needed to be worried of is the odd local copper that may slap you on the wrist & end your night early by sending you home :thumb_down

Ahhh fond memories!! Yellow 1300s Fiesta or blue Mkii Capri with some very sexy louvres on the back windows. Those were the days! Remember getting pulled by a copper after racing (and beating!) a Mki XR2, the copper told me to f&*k off home before he told my old man, that was scary!!

Good times  :thumbsup. Apparently Lisa used to sit in Pizza Hut window with her swotty mates and take the piss out of petrol heads, she didn't know what she was missing!
