So where is a good place?

I'm new to Port Talbot and looking around, it doesn't seem like a particularly bike friendly place, most of the car drivers gave me nothing but contempt!

So where is the good places? Obviously not a town centre on a Saturday (stupid Smashmouth!) but wheres good for a casual ride?

Well down the Swansea area most people go to M&P in the mornings and during the day over the weekends.  From there they then shoot off to where ever, Llandovery, or points West. 

The other place people congregate during the week and also weekends is down Knab Rock which is in Mumbles.........it's where Verdies is situated........just pop down and have a chat, you will soon get to know people.........K.................

There is one in Ystalyfera,we hold the meets for vdsr there on a monthly basis ,and the best bit is that all the roads that lead there are cracking bike roads

Def a good idea to look at having an 'indoor' venue going forward into the chillier part of the year 

Don't mind where to be honest and the Corner House is as good as any I s'pose  Although Tues has always been an issue for me as conflicts with parental taxi duties, but I know you cant suit all the people all the time.

The other thing about Verdi's was the bloody traffic to get there ,maybe somewhere where it's a nice spin to get there but not miles from anywhere .Are we looking at getting somehwere that does food or something along those lines ?

I know the Price's arms in colbren is supposed to be a good place for food ?
