I was fortunate / unfortunate (delete as one thinks) to be down Pembrey with the KRP team that races in the British 125 series on a trackday.  They were out just for a test, and as one of the riders didnt want to do the last session, he gave me the spot on my 600rr............. I thought I was going ok on my roadbike. Got down to 1:05's...... Then the other fecker came around the outside of me as if I was on stop, and did laps 6 seconds faster!!!!   Those things feckin motor!!!!

But yeah....... I would love to see what a MotoGP bike would post down there!!

as said above, any rider/driver in a race series has skill. its very easy for us to think we can do a better job or criticise their talent.

i revert to when richard hammond had a few laps in a f1 car. for me that highlighted how difficult it is to drive/ride top end machines, and how easy it is for us to criticise.

someone said "racing is crap in f1", i disagree. I love the sport. its exciting in its own way. The sheer speed of the cars, the cornering speed, the tactics and the banter that goes on is an appeal to me in a huge way.

Jason Palmer - BIGJ - you are already greatly missed, RIP friend.

"im leaving the forum.....never coming back"
