Removed my old can. Not too fussy on the H/L TOR anyway as there was no provision for a baffle and it really was TOO loud as it is just an open pipe. If I could have got away with fitting a baffle I would have kept it.
Old can.
Because the 1050 can comes off different headers, the suggestion to fit this can is to cut the headers but I really didn't want to do that and when I offered up the can I thought I could get away by just modifying the can instead.
The angle of the can looked way out and didn't suit the bike (and wouldn't have even if I had cut the headers), so I cut off the welded stub on the pipe and pie cut the end to change the angle. Then I did another pie cut and welded it up.
The biggest issue I had was the fact the Zard and the speed triple headers are the same diameter so I couldn't just slot the Zard for a clamp and had to source a bigger piece of pipe 44mm ID (the zard was 44mm OD and would sit inside the pipe).
Well, I couldn't find any so my old Daytona bazooka kindly donated it's stub (35mm long) which I sleeved the Zard (8mm onto the Zard then welded in place) then slotted the end to use a clamp on the headers.
I still need to source an M18x1.5 pitch bolt for the lambda sensor socket. Sounds like Daz at Fairfield tool and Die is gonna be busy tomorrow.

I think it looks far nicer, although the can is a little long due to me not cutting the headers back. If I source another set I may still do this.
I also had to make another hanger from the subframe out of stainless, I may remake this in alloy yet (Daz at FTD again).
New one.

Lovely sound even without the baffle fitted.
