fuzzrr you need to get a man's bike next (1000)  :tt

Since this a pic whoring thread I hope you don't mind if I contribute my past steeds?
 :innocent

2000 Aprilia RS250 - mine was all yellow with yellow wheels from W.Mounter in Ponty.  first big bike

Then spotted a GSXR SRAD-750 for sale on the wall in Genius Motorcycles in Beresford Lane, just off Broadway
Bargain at £2000.
ALWAYS wanted one since they came out when I was 14
So I bought it, and still had the Aprilia at the time so flogged that for 700 quid as id dropped it a few times
BIG MISTAKE!!!
Still miss the 250

Then sold the GSXR for what I paid for it.  lucky really as it had a bent frame etc  :thumb_down

then got a car.
Crashed that  :leaving

I was skint so picked up the freeads and bought the most powerful bike I could find for £700  :thumbsup
a 1986 Kawasaki GPZ-1000-RX

 :innocent
That eventually went bang.   piece of shit it was

Then bought a nice ZX7-R I spotted on biketrader.
Again i'd always wanted one.

Gorgeous  :thumbsup
Sadly though it was an ex race bike which had been converted to run on custom fuel injection.
It was fast!  :eek  But eventually blew up  :thumb_down

I then found my DREAM BIKE..................

Gooseneck, Cadwell Park  :no  Lost the front.  Front tyre was past its best really.

a shame as the bike was absolutely MINT up until then.  caught the grass and the crash bung dug in and sent the bike flipping.
I'd stopped sliding by this point, looked up to see the bike cartwheeling down the hill.

Not a happy bunny.  Took my helmet off and booted it down the grass  :censored

pope,

that was a nice 4xv .did it need a lot to repair then.

The subframe on the 4XV is welded to the frame so isn't removable.
Where it had landed on the rear end the subframe was properly bent and snapped at one section.

we had to bend it back to make it (fairly) straight then weld it back together.
At the same time I took the engine out to get the valve stem seals sorted as it was smoking and burning loads of oil.
When we put the engine back in it was leaking coolant where the gasket wasn't replaced properly.

Also the clocks were damaged and I couldn't find a new mount so they were ziptied on.

Bodywork was replaced for track stuff quite cheaply.
As was the damaged exhaust.

It made someone a very cheap bike though, £1300.

I guess i'll give you all a history of my bikes then.

Started my life on 2 wheels with my dads 50cc scooter,

It was like this one except it was yellow, and it was an apilia not a piaggio. Other than that, exactly the same :rofl

First bike when i passed my test was a Virago 535

It was an ok bike, not what i was looking for but it was legal for me to ride and cheap enough for me on my a1/a2 license - whichever one it was.

Then moved onto a cbr600fm

I saw the cbr as my first big bike and it lasted me well. Until my lack of spanner skills got the better of it and BigJ became the new owner of it.

I then bought an SV1000S

All i can say is  :shocked
So much torqe :drool

The mrs then passed her test and so i sold the SV to get 2 cheap 600's

First one was the ninja

and second was the tt

The mrs was a little scared to ride the tt as it was newer than the ninja, so she went for the ninja and i got the tt.

I promptly chucked the tt down the road and at the mo im riding the mrs' ninja until the tt is back up and running
