IF you haven't done anything wrong ..why agravate em ...just gives em an axe to grind against bikers... If plod want to be difficult, they can, they are a law unto themselves and unless you are knee deep in spare cash getting one over em is ni on impossible ... so why not just give your details and be on your way... Why mark yourself out to em ?, giving every pold in their disrict a reason to stop you every 3 miles, just cause they can........ :fishing

I don't like the ''system'' but it's there and it's not going away ... you can spend yr life banging your head against  :banghead  a brick wall and getting nowhere ....

:i_agree

I'm not worried about being stopped to be honest. If I was riding in a manner that drew attention then it would be my own fault. If I was stopped as part of a routine check then I have a full license, MOT, Tax and Insurance and my plate, exhaust and tyres are all legal.

I agree though that I've heard stories of Police officers not being so nice or efficient but I dont let that cloud my judgement as they are all different.

Why wouldn't you give your details??  If you aint a scum sucking retard with fingers in all the wrong pies then whats the problem.  I agree the cops can be a bit of a nuisance now and again, and could sometimes use their time on more pressing issues, but I guarantee you, without them, we would be proper f*cked!

 :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup
could not agree more, they need our support to catch all the scum bag shit driving round with no ins, no mot and no fookin lic

:taz play ball with them  :taz
can some one kill this thread as its bollocks  :sma

I'm finding this all very interesting tbh..... :scratch

I could have a VERY interesting conversation couldn't I....... :weed
"The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, who's face is marred by dust & sweat & blood; who strives valiantly...... & who at the worst, if he falls, at least falls while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold & timid"

police officer on the streets is also in the public domain....and its illegal to take a portrate photo or film without their permission.

Wrong Wrong Wrong Wrong This Makes Me Sooooo Angry.

It is not ilegal to take a picture of anyone in a public place this includes police officers.
Police officers despite what some of them may think are civilians and can not stop you taking their picture in a public place YOU DO NOT NEED PERMISION IN A PUBLIC PLACE.

They can use the prevention of terrorism act to stop you and question you about your reasons for taking their picture but they can not delete your pictures or confiscate your photographic equipment unless they have legal grounds to do so.

There is no law that says you can't take a picture of a person in a public place and police officers are people too I repeat There is no law that says you can't take a picture of a person in a public place and police officers are people too.

The only time you need permission to take a picture of anyone is when they are on private property.

It is a huge problem for photographers so much so that several organizations have published little cards that photographer can carry with them incase they are challenged by the police see bellow.

Feel free to copy the guiedlines bellow and laminate it stick in in your camera case for when ever you might need it

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.
