New Speed Camera's on the M4 just past the tunnels

I have a friend in the highways dept.
There are NEW speed cameras on the M4 just as you out the Bryn glass tunnel's East bound (thats toward the Bridge) these WILL be live very soon he said!

They are fitted in the overhead Gantry. All the other white camera markings are bogus at the moment.

So Forget changing lanes to fool the average speed cameras already there these babies will flash and have ya.

i was wondering about those new markings. i've been checking out the gantrys for flashy cams and haven't seen any, difficult to see the back end of those ones by the tunnels, i'll have to watch them. There isn't any near coldra end, well i haven't been flashed yet, oh umm, because i haven't been speeding, that'll be why  :innocent

not bothered by the average ones when i'm on the bike anyway.

apparently....there is going to be some of those`traffic controll speed limits` on the gantrys, bit like the M25, with changing limits according to how heavy the traffic is.

And..the new speed cameras on the gantrys will also detect insurance, seat belts and what colour knickers you`re wearing!! :thumbsup


Had all this from my `riding to godamn fast on your bike awarness course` that i went on yesterday and it cost me £80!! :taz
