Gwent police unmarked cars
« on: December 31, 2010, 05:18:01 PM »
This may be old news, but I've heard that Gwent police are running several unmarked, dark blue BMW 5 series cars. They are fitted with speed cameras and hidden flashing lights. The problem is that you can end up spending too much time watching your speed and mirrors and not enough time on riding safely!

they have got a dark blue ,i think its a ford focus people carrier type, not sure what its called, but it had pulled a youngster in in blaenavon a few weeks ago,if it wasent for the small blue light flashing in the back as i was getting near to them you would have never known.

These wank*ers are VERY active along the M4 heading east bound at J23 (Magor). There's a temporary 50mph limit posted (roadworks signs), after the average camera stretch, that they seem to be enforcing pretty throughly... me and the missus have seen a fair few cars pulled here the past 2 weeks.

Sad innit?

I suppose they have to pay for the Christmas doughnuts somehow, hence the increased activity! I understand there's a black Audi A6 out and about, too.

On the M4 last thursday near junction 45 on my way to Carmarthen a 10 Plate3 Series Bmw in Dark blue.
Reg: FP10 ...
More Noticable by the clear leds fitted into the rear bumper. :eek
Belongs to Dyfed Powys Police so there on the bandwagon too.

Also a Police bike mounted camera on the Duel carridgeway toward Carmarthen . :eek
