Coldra round-a-bout M4 + a48 through langstone to chepstow.

Ill start this off with some good news!
The speed camera on the edge of langstone on the old a48 road is no longer working!! I have blasted straight through from both directions many many many times over the last few months @around 65-80+ (its on my route to and from work and back to home) i have recieved nothing at all from the long arm of the law!!

On the down side....in langstone recently for the last month some of the local yobo's have been letting horse's out of the fields in the area and they have been wandering on to the road.

The poilce have failed to do anything to stop this from happening and the land owner isnt doing much either as it is becoming a regular occurrance. Anyone riding through langstone keep your speed down untill you pass the garage and pub. A local lady wrote her car off the other day after one ran out infront of her. wasnt a small car either so would dread to see what would happen to a bike. KEEP YOUR EYES WIDE OPEN!!

Also....when travelling through langstone there is a big wall on your left handside around 1000 yards past the camera. Keep an eye out while nearing the end of the wall....I had some TWAT in an audi A4 do a U turn in the road RIGHT infront of me from a lay-by.

The camera by the new inn langstone has been working on and off for years.  So beware,  when its removed then it will be OK.  Watch for a mobile unit in the layby going towards caerwent also just before the the new inn

I can back-up all of this info too, using these roads myself every day.

The Gatso on the A48 at Langstone hasn't been recommissioned since the road was  resurfaced last summer, but as DB says, they do seem to be placing a Scamera Van in the lay-by on t'other side of the road more often of late.

I actually saw a horse stood on the pavement, right opposite The Highway Robbery, sorry, Gulf Fuel Station, this Friday, at 7:30 am... being a 'Paint' I'd hazard a guess it belonged to one of our Romany 'friends' from the Emerald Isle - can't imagine hitting one on a bike tho... ewww (horse of Gypsie)!

@ addict...your guess is wrong there sorry...they belong to a rich TWAT that just cannot learn to keep his gate shut!! It was friday of last week that one of the horse's was run over. There are no gypo's in langstone. Just one mega rich twat with ZERO brain capacity. 

The gatso camera in langstone has not worked for years.....i live in the langstone area and have tested it many a time both dirrections. Since it was first put up in 2002 it has never worked towards chepstow. Its only ever worked going in to langstone towards newport and hasnt worked for over a year now..

Luckily i know the poilce's little hidey holes . IF there about its either the lay-by (which ironicly is right by the field full of horse's that keep escaping)
If there not there...it'll be on the old "taylors cafe" roundabout.
Failing that....they'll be past the grose wen pub (just out of langstone) in a lay-by on the right handside 200 yards after the pub.

The next little stop used by them is the quarry entrance in penhow.


If anyone else has info on where there putting up traps.....let me know please.
I have found a loop hole hahaha.......there is nothing stopping people putting up signs warning that police are in the area using there Scam-cams. Which is what i intend to so because im sick off it. Ive had 2 bikes stolen in the past and my car vandalized outside my house....they did nothing..took no prints...didnt send a scenes of crime team out......genrally didnt care and showed no intest in a word i told them...didnt even note things down...ITS ABOUT F*CKING TIME THEY PULL THERE THUMBS OUTA THERE ARSE'S N CATCH SOME REAL CRIMINALS!

GOOD NEWS!!! spotted a few rspca vans along with the fire brigade at the field where the horse's keep escaping from....looked like they were being rounded up and put in to vans/transporters. Fingers crossed!!
