An officer & a gentleman
« on: July 03, 2011, 02:42:13 PM »
Coming downhill over the bridge in Llandeilo today my speed crept up to 38 mph. At the bottom of the hill was a policeman with a handheld speed detector who pulled me in .
He explained that residents had complained about vehicle, bikes in particular, going through Llandeilo too quickly.
He gave me  warning & then we had a pleasant chat.
I then went on my way after thanking him.
I have a change of bike & the Pan is quicker than my perceived speed. I am putting 3 yellow spots on my speedo @ 30 , 50, & 60 & resolve to keep a closer eye on my speed.

There is now a speed  campaign operating in the Llandeilo area so be warned.

No worries Lumberjack. If you had been naughty he would have pulled you in as he did me.

I am in the naughty corner now & my toys have been taken away.

If you had stopped for breakfast in the cafe half way down the hill this would not have happened. Remember the value of a proper biker breakfast, it can keep you out of trouble!!
