new 2008 aprilla rsv 1000

just had a little play on my mate's brand new 2008 rsv aprilla 1000,lovely bike very smooth and exellent in the corners,the brakes are very good and i really liked it, reminded me of the super duke i just sold just leave it in any gear and use the engine brake and torque of it to slow down or give it some,i told him to go one smaller on the front sprocket as it will be a tad quicker as this is what i done to the duke and it improved it alot and get some titanium akras and a pc 3 and race filter and it will be awsome,he only payed a tad over £7000 for it brand new in the crate,awsome price for a bike with all the bits on it and its stunning to look at,im borrowing it in the week as he needs to do another 300 miles on it to get it run in and then get the first service done on it which will cost £300 from the aprilla place in portalbot  but apart from this service price its a strong thumbs up from me,lovely bike........

I've got RSV Factory 04 great bike bit hard on the bum and bloody tyres great engine braking would strugle to go back to
 the Blade I had before very underated bike.Would love V4 its so small.

my mates is one of the last ones made before the rsv4 was made so it has all the bling on it from standard,just waiting for the chap at aprilla to give me a call to say when i can come up there for a test ride and after hearing the sound of that mv f4 in your vid, i would'nt mind taking one of them out aswell as i've never really though about a mv f4 as a hooligan bike and change my mind about the bmw.??? the rsv4 i sat was not small as im 6 foot and it was ok for me,the seat was hard though so a gel seat would be the order of the day for one,the rsv4 looks small as the fairing at the front is so close to the bars that gives it the illusion of being tiny which it isnt.....

Bean (the manager of STP) said he knows a guy in riders and is going to do a quick swap, him on the BMW and the riders guy on his MV to see what he thinks of it.

The F4 revs like a 750.  Get a go on it, That's what the demo's there for

well i took my mates bike again and put 240 miles on it and got back to his shed and we dropped it....lol scratched the fairing and belly pan...lol luckily i caught it but it just toched the floor by a millimeter but scratched it,to say i was gutted is a understatment,my mate laughed and said dont worry about it..???  anyway my other mate is a painter and is repainted the scratched belly pan and left fairing and i've ordered new decals for it at £27 so not to bad....i will never borrow another bike again ever.....

When I dropped my 02 RSV-R I broke my ankle............my left arm.......... my  right shoulder..........my back.........Right arm brekal plexus injury (nerve damage)..........most of left front ribs..........em most of right to..........oh spleen went for a burton............ ruptured my large intestines.........oh and small.........oh and my bowl........better not forget my right kidney.........artery in my right ankle burst to...... had a fek'n swollen face and two cauliflower ears


Oh and my bollox were the size of melons AND THAT IS NOT RUDDY FUNNY

and if that wasn't enough my heart and lungs sweld  up and I got pneumonia

Got crash bobbins on my RSV Factory have saved it a few times even when I came off coming out of JT's on the estate in Bridgend.

That was a 40 MPH get off (according to the police) it was just into the side of a tractor.........followed by a telegraph pole..............
