You need to shop around as much as you can. Maybe start of with the price comparrison sites as that will give you a broad range. Always make sure you check the fine print though because the cheapest quote may not necessarily be the best deal!!

Some places offer a discount to forum members, have a look in the discount section! :thumbsup

I used both confused.com and gocompare.com.  I've zero NCD on a bike and only my CBT and have insured it fulled comp for 2 riders.  The cheapest by far was Bennetts insurance at £246.  I rang the second cheapest to see if they could beat the quote and i also rang carole nash as they publish that they can beat any quote.  They cant!!!!  I stuck with Bennetts and added Legal and Helmet/Leathers cover for a grand total of £300.  A deposit of £100 and the rest over 10 months.  A stupid APR rate but it actually cost 15 quid or so to pay monthly (i'd got money off for taking out helmets with legal which was more than this anyway) and i was happy enough with that!  Watch out for excesses thou, mines only a total of £200 but some of the comparisomes wanted £500 quid!!!!

hi mate,
try mcn.compare,i saved about 120 quid-tip off a mate---- never do the deal over the net!!!,because they pay a commission to the compare . sites,,,so when you get your cheapest quote ring them up to ask another useless question, make out you didnt quite understand something, and tell them that another site have given you the same or a cheaper quote and ask them if they can beat it,,because they will not be paying a commission to a compare site they will 9 times out of 10 give you a discount!. try it you have nothing to loose,.
 all the best.

I had mine from Bikesure, they beat the cheapest quote I could find online too, they didn't even check I could just picked a number from the air! Then again I did also add on, personal injury cover, helmet and leather and also breakdown cover (well I do drop it a lot!)

I'm with jenros though, by all means have a look online for quotes buy when the time comes phone them up, you'll get a better deal  :thumbsup
