i have 2 weeks off at the beginning of September - so what to do

1. go to Ireland on 2 bikes
2 go to Ireland on his bike
3 get a flight somewhere hot
4 go to the alps on his bike
5 go to the alps on 2 bike [taking into account i have never driven let alone riden on the other side of the road]
6 bimble around GB

Wow you're spoiled for choice. If the weather is lovely in September why don't you do a tour of the U.K on both bikes but must say going to the alps on his bike sounds more exciting and even more adventurous

fly somewhere hot - you can do that any long weekend at short notice if you want to

but next years holiday has taken over.

when i started learning to ride my ultimate goal was to go to Iceland for the longest day of the year, its an emotional day for me and seemed a good location to reflect and let go

also turns out to be a trip the dear heart has on his to do list, so we are going next June, I'm so excited 

so bikesafe is booked to improve riding, off road bike is being purchased for practice in particular water crossings, dummy runs are being planned for carrying all that camping gear on the off road bike as well as the GS [which will be doing the trip], camping...and the route is being plotted as we speak

so this years holiday might just be a bimble round the UK, which might include a venture to the south of wales, and hunt out a few of you lot as i missed you when you visited the North...
