So considering it's going to be the first track day for a lot of people I thought it would be good to spark up a thread to get the questions answered!I'll start. As the bikes are off road and on track I understand that you aren't insured on your normal policy. From what I've been thinking as one of the slower riders I will be passed quite often which puts responsibility on the passing riders to make safe overtakes. If the rider behind takes you out is it just a matter of weeping into a pillow? or just a bit of a ?

Ok.Question 2 Is it normal to be really anxious about it, I am getting butterflies already
It's my first track day in 18 years of riding and I've got butterflies.Since this is Track Question time here goes:Will they have an Air Line there, as in tyre pump? Water? If I do manage to get both bikes there, if one goes tits up can I pit and change bikes without waiting for the next session? Loss of track time. How much fuel will Llandow need, one tank? Should we take a spare 25L?Will the Cafe be open all day? What time do we get there and leave I forgot?
Have done loads now and still get nervous to the point of puking in my helmet while waiting to go out

Oh and comfort eating lots of burgers so I hope the cafe is open I am still toying with the idea of taking the cbr being as if worse case scenario occurs it's worth less and parts are cheaper. But then I booked the track day to learn more about my bike...not the cbr.
Yeah, this is COMPLETELY normal... we all get it.In terms of it being you 1st trackday... try to enjoy it, stay loose on the bike and RIDE THE TRACK and NOT the other participants - don't get 'suckered in' to following a much faster or more experienced rider... it has to be about you and your bike and not what others are doing. The stuff about killing eachother on track and shagging eachother's missus is called racing! You'll be fine Dude - see you there.
