Ooops wrong forum!

i am starting to love my tyres, i don't mean

i just mean love and trust them. the tyre on the bike when i bought it was nearly on the limit and my faith was never there, but now i'm all scrubbed in with the new one i'm starting to believe in them more and more.
well that was until i ventured out into the sh*t ,cold, grey, wet morning today! my first proper run to work on a wet day and it just sucked all my confidence!!

had to go newport - barry - bristol and i was very nervous. Then as i was plodding along, i remebered reading somewhere that most riders don't lean more than 30 degrees on a wet day? not sure how true this is (it's on the internet though it must be true!!), but i'd been trying to keep the bike as upright as possible - probably look a right tit!! then the more i thought about it, the more i started to think i probably don't even do 30 degrees in the dry

as i started to get used to not seeing out the visor and avoiding

driving without their lights on in silver cars the more my confidence started to come back. Obviously, i was still super cautious, but i started going slightly quicker than the 5 yr old cyling to school along side me!
I'm sure it comes with experience, but it's difficult knowing how to ride in the wet when i've never done it before. it's *97% effective so i should trust the rubber!
