What if the guy's got 6" and a fast arse - does that impress, too?

Reassuring to hear no offs in 20 years! that with using it daily for work etc too? Notice you live in Penmaenmawr, do you know Blane 'Inkaholic' Dickinson?

Cheers
Blane was in my class in Junior school for a while and yes I ride pretty much daily and year round but living just off the A55 it is clear all year and not too many out of the way places that I frequent. I occasionally borrow a car if I need to for anything but I dont own one and dont plan on it either :)

Ooo what a cool thread, want my $0.02? :)

I've not been riding long (not very wide, either :tt), since August last year, when I did my CBT on a Yamaha YBR (loved it) and bought a CBF125 the same week (that's a love/hate relationship...  :tt ). I really went 100% into biking. I recall that, just after parking my brand new shiny Honda on my (parent's  :thumbsup ) driveway, I didn't touch my Rover for about two weeks, I was absolutely smitten and, apart from an infuriating spat of breakdowns relating to a faulty fuel pump, it's been a barrel of laughs all the way!

I did the theory straight away, but kind of lost steam after that, after all, my little 125 had all the power I really needed at 11bhp... But... My dad bought an '05 650 Bandit S a few weeks ago (for when he passes his test... eventually!), so I took on the task of cleaning/maintaining it, and thought one day I'd just make sure the wheels turned and the engine ticked over... Ten minutes later I returned from up the road, thoroughly terrified and exhilarated! Just did my Mod 1 on Monday (yaaaay! :drunk ) and can't wait to pass Mod 2 in July!! I'm only 20, so will have to wait the 2-year 33bhp restriction, but the sheer viciousness of that 650cc engine has given me a very clear target to aim towards!!

I'd say get yourself a cheap, small car if you can, but don't give up 2 wheels for 4! It's ten times the fun  :thumbsup
