Ah glad the new Fuel Pump sorted yours. My new fuel pump should be fitted next week and then hopefully no more problems! In the meantime though I've done about 200 miles on this 3rd loan CBF of theirs and it's all good. Only issue I had with it is it sometimes slips back into neutral from 2nd gear, but maybe I'm not kicking it into 2nd hard enough...

Yeah thanks mate, fingers crossed, hope yours comes back spik and span too ;-)

Not sure on the slipping out of gear problem, never had that happen....yet lol!
 :thumbsup

Oh yes I get that now and again, sometimes from 2nd to neutral, but sometimes from 5th gear to 4th, not good on a fast road going round a bend! I think it's just from not kicking it up high enough though. Hmm kinda makes you wonder, does anyone know if you can safely shift without the clutch?  :wheelchair

Yes you can, but only do it from 2nd upwards. But use the clutch on the way back down thru the gears. Hopefully someone will be along to elaborate a bit more.

I phoned my dealer this morning, and they said the Fuel Pump has now arrived and they are fitting it today. So hopefully later on today or tomorrow I will get it back, and take it for a good test!

Well I've got my bike back today, done 50 miles on it and it's been pretty warm (23 degrees C) and humid today and no problems! Fuel Pump replacement seems to have done the trick! I'm starting to feel I can trust the bike again....

Hey all! Sorry I've not been posting, too busy riding!

Yes the fuel pump seems to have done the trick, same as you dj, I'm starting to trust the bike again now! Enough to stick some earplugs in and rag it to the gear shift lines all the way to work and back! Seems pretty solid  :thumbsup

Now I've just gotta get those 2 tests out the way in July and I can be rid of the thing!  :tt Glad to see everyone's bikes are sorted now!! How about a CBF ride out to celebrate? We could put giant novelty plasters on them like that children in need bear  :group_hug
