Newbie biker acts like a newbie!
« on: July 28, 2010, 09:07:30 PM »
Just something that I happened to do........

Passed my test a couple of weeks ago and have been riding my 600 Bandit now for a couple of days.  Earlier on today I pulled up at a level crossing.  Realising that I might be a few minutes I switched my engine off.  When the barrier opened (with a LOOONGGGG queue of 4 wheelers behind me ;-) I tried to start my engine - nothing, tried again - nothing - arrggghhh, choke - nothing, it was dead.  I moved to the side and watched the cars go passed then noticed that the cut-out switch was slightly pressed!!!!!!   :rofl   What a :handjob

 :rofl

At least I can laugh about it now..........

We've all done it. I once washed the bike and then spent about an hour poking about with a multimeter trying to figure out why she wouldn't start...........................Bloody switch!

Andy.
The instructions said "Use Windows XP or greater" so I installed Linux!
A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those?

You aren't the first and won't be the last, I bet you won't do it again though!!

I switch mine off now when I use my disc lock, that way when it doesn't start it reminds me to take the lock off!!

One of my workmates did that to me on the starting grid of a Minimoto day out we had. :tap
I got him back next round though, tyre-walls are quite unforgiving. :clap
