These clowns should be retested before they are allowed back on the road, he needs an
optician too by the sound of it.
Hope you get everything sorted out soon. Good luck!!

GWS, i've got into the habit of trying not to stop at junctions by reducing speed earlier to keep some momentum whilst approching junctions/roundabouts and jumping out into gaps in traffic at the earlyist oppertunity, with the power to weight ratio its quite easy but it does carrys another set of risks........ but reduces the likellyhood of being rear ended........

 :i_agree

the same goes for sitting in traffic or stopping at traffic lights.
possibly all these years of automatic filtering straight away have stopped me being rear ended  :scratch

you'd be suprised, most bikes (even 125's) will out accelerate your average family car to 40!!

It used to be my favourite game - beat the queue of traffic off the lights coming out of Cardiff, then watch them all fly past me going up the A470  :tt :tt :tt

sorry to hear that mate, glad ur ok.  It's more likely that the fact was, as is with so many drivers, not that he "didn't see u" more like he wasn't looking for you.  Thats why we have to be extra vigilant on the roads, it help if you can mind read to!

Unfortunately most drivers just don't think about bikes unless they ride themselves.  Anyways, get better soon and get back up and riding.

Them round-a-bouts are terrible, almost been smashed in my car there (by women drivers) several times, especially by Texaco and the one by the stadium. Wont entertain it on the bike unless unavoidable.

Hope your pains aren't to much to handle that you can't go to work for the next week or so and lose out on wages. Also, ginger is good to help reduce the vomiting caused due to concusion, let your doc know tomorrow if you've been sick all night. Apparently, aromatherapy can help reduce nightmares and the sweats you can have as a result, or even loss of sleep, but not always effective and the doc should be able to suggest something for your nerves if that feeling of anxiety when in built up traffic areas doesn't subside soon :scratch

Get well soon pal and just hope insurance don't send you an M&P's voucher for your new kit  :weed
