Did they put the entitlement back on after Marlboro?

Also my photocard is due for renewal soon, who's it best to get the photocopy done with (signed and the like?)

I dont think you have to change to a photcard unless you move address or your entitlemnet changes. If you do change to the photocard it needs to be renewed every 10 years so the pic is up to date. I hope to be moving later this year but not sure whether i want to risk sending mine off when i do, everthing i read seems to say the that the DVLA are a bunch of  :handjob who even when they have proof of your entitlement dont want to listen.  :taz

May sound a bit daft this..............But could you get proof by taking you document/license  to a solicitor and get them to photocopy or signed document, something along them lines. Then if any dispute with the DVLA you can call upon the solicitor. Just a thought.

Don't be daft Nero, that would be too easy,

There was an article in Classic Bike a couple of months ago were that approach had been used, and a couple of people still had to resit their test's DVLA would not back down :banghead, It's a serious problem, I'm 'angin onto my paper license even if it resembles a paper tissue after it's been through the wash , I been riding 30 odd years and I aint gonna loose it coz some office whaller can't do their job properly

My photo licence runs out while we are away so I did it on line on Wednesday night - you can do on line if you have renewed your passport in the last 5 years and want to use the same photo (not a good photo but saved me getting more) still a £20 fee
instruction was to cut up my old photo licence and return...
i thought i would hang onto it until the new one arrived just in case, and Friday got the new one in the post - very impressed at how quick i got it back, basically it took 1 working day......

so being a good girl i Will cut up the old one and post it back - eventually  :tt

does my bum look big in this.....
