Thought I'd give you guys and gals a follow up, I've just taken delivery of a Yamaha YBR 125 Custom in Red. 10 plate, just under 600 miles on the clock,  and it's safe to say I think I'm in love :clap . She truly is a thing of beauty. Slight downside is that she was delivered without Lplates, even after the guy said he'd fit them, but no big deal, will pop to halfords in the morning and pick up a few things anyway.

Now to get a few miles under my belt, and hopefully join some fellow 125ers on a rideout or two  :thumbsup

Safe riding, all the best.

JC
Congratulations on your new bike i bet you cant wait to get on the bike smiles and miles now  :thumbsup

could not agree more ride your 125 for a bit and get some road use, this is exactly the same route I took. Never been on a bike until May this year and did my CBT ------AND I WAS CRAP  :thumb_down
On the advice bought a 125 (intruder lc) put a few miles on it and enjoyed the roads, hills and valleys round Brecon.
Booked my theory test (did not revice-----AND FAILED) :thumb_down
re booked my theory (read the book -did on line tests and scored 49 out of 50) :thumb_up
Tried to get in on a 125 mod 1 but it was very busy and did DAS but failed Mod 1 first time. Had a think??????????????
re booked mod 1 and passed with no worries, booked mod 2 passed last sat no issues at all.
chuffed ain't a word for it, and I believe the time on me 125 was well worth it- even sold the bike and only lost £50 from orig purchase price ---winner
now looking forward to dry days and open roads
a very happy man
 :thumbsup
