Had a set on my Speed Triple and got 2000 out of the rear but the front was around 4500.  Good value and excellent grip but not that good for wear rate.

If you want to save some cash then go for Maxxis Diamonds. £170 a pair!!! It's what I got on the GSXR and they are spot on.

Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

I did phone champion moto and then thought to have a quick look online and told them I'd phone them back.   £15 cheaper on the tyre plus whatever the delivery would've been.

Normally find the bargains after I bought.

As I said previously I had just over 2000 out of the rear on my Speed Triple but the grip cannot be faulted. (5000 from the front)

I have a maxxis sport on the front and maxxis Diamond on the rear and I can't tell you how many miles so far (not sure) but done a few 200+ miles rides on them and the wear has been good so far and they give me plenty of confidence.   I was a bridgestone man untill I tried these and now I'm converted.  Confidence in my tyres is everything to me,  the extra mileage is just a BIG FAT Bonus.    I used battlax bt10 front and bt20 on the rear when I had my bandit 1200 (quite a few years ago now, hence 10' and 20's) and they would never last long.  I always use a stickier front,  it's an old nonsensical theory (I've been told) that still gives me confidence and that's what I need when I'm riding.

Anyway,  back on track.   I think the maxxis are not just great value,  I think they're a really good tyre.    It's just my opinion and that is in no way professional.
