Hi all, We are making an early start in promoting next years Macmillan Cancer Support Mountain rideout.
The rideout is a total of 190 round trip miles
We will be having meeting points about junction 36 Bridgend and Junction 23 of the M4 where Macmillan marshalls will meet you and ride to the meeting venue in Newport (J24), where a burger van will be there for you to have a pre ride munch if you want.
The route is going to be-
*Newport Stadium> A48 towards Monmouth to Hereford and down into Abergavenny (82miles)
CUPPA STOP
*Abergavenny> A40 to Llandovery (43 miles)
LUNCH STOP
Then we will be heading off home towards the A40>A4042> Newport. (64 miles)
People can drop off as and when they need on the return journey, the idea is to get a huge convoy on the way up.
The scenic views are amazing through the Wye valley and up the A40 through Brecon.
The lunch stop will be in the well known Westend Cafe in Llandovery.
