Bridgestone bto21's worn out!
« on: November 30, 2010, 09:40:57 PM »
Very poor mileage on a pair of Bridgestone 021's just over 2000 miles, down to markers, I'm sure I got more out of the 20's. I ride a carb Blackbird. Any way I spoke to a mate who runs a track day school and told me to stick with Bridgestone saying that the 021's were soon replaced with 023's judging from the poor feedback from riders most slag off the 021's for their wear properties. Switched to 023's now, it will be interesting to see if my mate is right about the new 23's. I'll keep you posted!
Bike off road for some T.L.C. with ADF-50 while the snow is around

Only decided to try the 023's as the were only used as warm up on standard tyres to set up bike for a track day, I agree that Avons are now a better fit for the Blackbird. John at JAWS the cbr xx Expert will not ride on anything else. How ever Bridgestone are such a huge company I'm sure they won't hang around to put things on track again. It's all about market share.
