Good job there hasnt been a thread started on here about this shop, or I would have gone right into the scenario of the shop selling a £6,500 Gixer 750 which they knew had been practically written off....... Ehhhh.... :handjob

I've only used mounts once back when I had my first bike (Aprilia RS250)  god I loved that thing
Anyhoo I was riding to Bristol and the pillion hump wasn't on properly and flew off into the river Seven  :no

I went down mounts and they wanted something silly like 200 quid for a new one...........

they then sold me an RS250 sticker kit that i didnt need and never used

Bought a few bikes of them starting with a tzr 250 up to my R1 and found them great with prices but useless with warranty recalls ,seems as though they are going down hill and the guy at the counter is so far up his own arse he can see through his nostrils  :eek

Well put it this way........... On returning the bike I asked what was going to happen to the damaged parts on the old one. I was told, all items would be replaced with brand new ones... Mainly, the bottom yolk...

It turns out they then placed a 'wanted' ad on one of those 'find a part' sites....... My mate in the trade showed me the listing...

Yep, honest people in that place!  :handjob

Bought my bike from them and they were decent enough, gave me a good part exchange deal. I did feel they didn't take my concerns at 6oo mile service seriously but i put it down to me being a paranoid new biker.

I purchased a bike from mounts in swansea which turned out to be a death trap. Even after repairs, I was riding home in the dark when the headlight failed. Sometime before this I purchased heated grips from their port talbot branch. Even after a few miles I returned to the shop to explain they werent working propelry. The old bastard there said to give them a week to bed in. Since when do heated grips need bedding in? Well I returned a week later to refund them, but only after a lot of hassle. Wanker even tried fobbin me off with "we can refund the part but not the labour", but he could see I was having none of it. Basically dont do business with mounts(swansea or port talbot), simples.
Dai Ling Ping.
So what would happened if I drive faster than the speed of light and turn on my headlight?
You know youve been caught speeding when the photo of your bike has motion blurr.
