799.99 - 309 = 490.99 that's 159% mark up. I thought Rukka were expensive because they were very high spec, (at TT I didn't get involved in the pricing) but now I see that it's just ripoffski by the resellers.I guess it's a legal requirement to show the actual rrp in an advert where it's that sum that is being used to build up the value of the offer against another product, in this case the Tenere.
So disclosing the RRP in one part of the ad and then having a different offer elsewhere in the ad is just a mistake in your opinion? It is in mine.
I understand that Pricey, but in this advert they have two sets of prices. Set one is for the jacket and screams save £300 quid, only £499.99 reduced from £799.99Then in the same ad for free kit if you buy a Tenere it says the same jacket is free but RRP is £309.00It doesn't matter if there's been a store anywhere else where it was cheaper, what you have here is the rrp for an item that elsewhere in the advert they are saying you save £300 by buying it at £499.99 then show you rrp is only £309, so they are still making £190.99.
