Tyre and bearing fitting needed Maesteg/Port Talbot Area.
« on: December 10, 2011, 06:19:05 PM »
Hi,  a little help needed.

I have bought a new rear tyre and bearings and need to get them fitted.   I live in maesteg and work in port talbot.  There is a tyre house in maesteg that will change the tyre but don't have a bearing puller small enough for bike wheel bearings.
What I need is a mobile tyre fitter that operates in the Maesteg/Port Talbot area,

or someone who could lend me a bearing puller to remove my current bearings so I can get my tyre changed in the local tyre house.

Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks in Advance,
Ryan.
Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

.

Phoned him, no answer.
text him, no reply.
pm'd him, no reply.

He's done work for me before and I was happy with what he done and I was also hoping he'd reply because I would like him to service my bike after christmas if he could.   Maybe he'll reply.

Yanto is busy moving at the moment but I found the phone number for someone I been trying to contact for a while and he did it for me this afternoon  :tup2 .  Landed to be back in contact with him and I may have sold him a pair of pit bikes (he's coming to Maesteg to view them tomorrow or tuesday).   Turned out a good finding his number.

Happy days because he is a good mechanic and truly honest guy I can trust totally.   If them pit bikes go tomorrow then it's cartwheels.   :clap

It would've been my sons money but that guy hasn't turned up to see them as yet.   :no
My mrs is more excited about getting rid of them as they are in her poach.
Anyone who sees them will buy them but I ain't got round to advertising them.
Advertise them fter christmas now, my wife wanted her poach back before christmas.  It would have been a place for another tree I don't doubt for a second..

My sons is an Orion frame with detachable sub frame.   Fast ace rear Shock,  FastAce usd forks fully adjustable  (suspension never been jumped),  New Lifan big bore race engine (stickers not washed off yet from new), new plastic and graphics with extra Honda Sobe Graphics.  Can't remember the make of the wheels at the mo (12" & 12").  New twin foam air filter, Progrip MX race grips, levers and other bits.   My bike is not running at the mo but nothing major wrong, will cost £30 if anything to get it going. new c&s and FastAce rear shock and plastics & graphics.
I will throw mine in for free if I could get my son £450 for his.  I got two spare tyres with 75%+ tread to go with them.  I got a load of mx gear (protection & clothing) for adult and child  I could bundle in for a bit extra, some used and some not.  Only selling as we got nowhere to ride them and I received a sec.59 warning off the police which I cannot break and risk my licence.

I can supply photos if you know anyone who may be interested.  I can supply more detail about the one that's not running on request too.   :thumb_up

Cheers Pricey.
It's worth more by quite a bit.  For all I'm offering it's worth at least £100-£150 more but I need to get rid of them.   I can send you pic's but he is more than welcome to come and look to get a better idea of what is there.   My sons bike alone has had £500 of recent upgrades added and it looks and sounds a minter.  I've added about £150 worth of bits to mine too.   I forgot to mention mine has also had a new magneto/stator plate fitted.
