First has anyone got the name (and number) of a reliable mechanic in the Wrexham area, who will work on Triumphs.
I have been worried about the temperature at which my 06 Daytona 675 has been running. Last night the warning lights came on for oil pressure and temperature and some smoke came off the engine. The engine was running ok and sounded fine (no rattles apart from the standard Triumph ones ) The engine oil level is fine.

Prob a bit late, but you don't mention if the fan is kicking in when the bike gets hot.

The oil light could be coming on if the sensor is very sensitive as the oil gets thinner when very hot, but it could also be an oil temp warning. Either way try to avoid the motor getting that hot too often.

First bheck the fan is not seized and the relay is operating OK.
