Has anyone tried these?

Any comments, experiences, good or bad?
Seen these advertised on E-bay £17.96 + £3.96 p+p
Do they really do "what it says on the box"?

I was told a spark is a spark - i mean if you have a £20 match and a 2p match and you light both and lob them into petrol result is the same..

Not particularly true.  A bad spark can seriously affect the performance in an engine.

That said, I doubt you'd see any difference in performance from an iridium spark plug, however the pretty much doubled life expectancy of an iridium spark plug is quite attractive  :thumb_up

The problem is that in the environement of the cylinder the smallest extra rsistance can affect the quality of the spark.
In normal atmosphere there is no visable differance in performance but when in a 12:1 high density area the better the ability of the electrons to jump the gap the better the spark. Every little helps.
This affects power, fuel consumption, wear and tear.

If your bike was designed for a standard plug then upgrading can only be a good thing. Putting standard in an engine designed for the latest plugs will be bad. You may not feel the difference but your engine will.

You can all wake up now. :zzz
Not a scientific explanation but one can be provide if you wish.

Purchase set of 4 from the ebay shop posted, found them to be the cheapest around! Fitted on my Blackbird,
good engine response much better than the standard ones. Worth fitting!!!!!!
