I have a thing with my head that means that it doesn't fit all helmets. It's sort of, well lunky. I reckon the best way to buy a helmet is to go to the shop and try them all on, without looking at the price or anything else. Then at the end take all the ones that feel comfortable and put them in order of whatever you feel is important, like material, price, looks etc. Then you can come up with a compromise and the best for you.Try not to worry about what other people think, they've all got a kite mark (the helmets, not the people). Different riders have different requirements. If you are on a student loan riding a tiny scooter, you don't need and probably can't afford the same sort of thing that Stoner has.The only thing that I would use review sites for is for noise - cos that's about the only thing you can't test before buying.
